The sign-up process
The sign-up process to partner with Uber involves 5 easy steps.
This includes a background check process run by Uber and this step typically takes between 7-10 days.
If you haven't had a chance to create a driver-partner profile, sign-up using the link below:
2. Complete Onboarding Form
Once you have created your driver-partner profile, you will receive an email with a link to complete your onboarding form.
If you haven't received it, please submit a request to our support team who will respond shortly!
3. Submit Documents
In order to help us process your required background checks, you'll be required to to submit your Driver's Licence and Identification (either your passport or birth certificate) documents. You will also be required to submit your vehicle's insurance certificate.

You can submit your documents in two ways:
- You can upload your documents by logging onto the driver-partner dashboard, then select 'Profile' on the menu tab and upload any missing documents; or
- Visit us to receive one-on-one assistance to upload all of your documents.

4. Uber Runs Background Checks
Uber will process your background checks and this typically takes 7-10 days to complete.
No further action is required from you during this step unless you have recently moved from interstate. If so, click here. Otherwise just hang tight and Uber will be in touch as soon as they are complete.
5. Obtain A Free Vehicle Inspection
As soon as your background checks have been returned we will invite you to complete your FREE vehicle inspection - the final step in becoming an Uber partner.
You will receive an email with details on how and where to get your vehicle inspected.
When you complete this final step, you will be able to drive on the Uber platform!
